Winter Sunrise, Monday Mornings

As I finally dragged myself out of bed this morning, I sat up to see this beautiful sunrise through my window.
The looming gloom of Monday mornings, the prospects of a minimum of 45 hours in front of a computer, the constant beeping of my snoozed alarm. Only a splash of pink across a beautiful yellow/blue sky could put a smile on my face so early in the morning.

Despite my aching for some summer sun, I do love winter sunrises. They have more colours than the other seasons' and there is something about the winter chill, amongst all the magical patterns that leave me with a happy heart.

I'm busy writing short comic strips with a friend from work. She was sick today so I added some colour to two of the teaser frames. It's a comic about cats. It should be awesome.

Cuddle Cats

 

So I had a lovely weekend up at the farm. The weather was perfect and I got some nice photos of all the animals and veggies I could find. One of the highlights of the weekend had to be waking up to find little Melow snoogled up next to me under the covers. He had slept at the end of the bed all night but must've gotten cold and crawled into bed with us. I have not met a cuter cat in my whole life.
